The honest answer is that trust is the wrong tool for this market. Research peptides are not FDA-approved products and are not subject to pre-market review, which means the entire quality system is documentation, and documentation can be checked. What follows is the verification process we believe every researcher should run on any supplier, ours included, before placing an order.
Step 1: What should a peptide COA include?
A certificate of analysis (COA) is the foundational document. But the word "certificate" does a lot of hiding, so be precise about what a real one contains:
A batch or lot number that matches the physical product you receive. A COA without a batch number, or one that never changes across orders, is a brochure.
An HPLC purity result with the actual chromatogram, not just a summary percentage. The chromatogram is what shows whether "99%" reflects a measurement or a copy-paste.
